While everything we are involved in is somehow going to make us better people – if we have that mindset – then the past year taught me many good lessons. To be kinder, more loving, patient, not to rely of external environments to dictate to me what exclusively makes me happy. To keep the inner person healthy. And one way I’ve been so very fortunate enough to do that is to create. To paint, cook, serve, be crafty. The thing I found happening was that when my mind was jittery, I found it very hard to focus and get in the zone of creativity. So, I don’t have a good answer how to resolve that unless it’s just to make quiet time more often and peaceful times of walking, surrounding myself with all things good like music I love, as much as possible. And to think positive. As Elsa says Let it Go! Works wonders. Here are a couple of little daily paintings I’ve made since the new year. Enjoy.
